HATE hate hate hate- Wal-Mart is the devil. I refuse to give them my business. I used to work there years ago. They mistreat their employees, don't pay enough, and have crappy benefits. They take business away from small business owners. The employees are always rude. Customers in the store are usually rude as well.
I'd rather pay twice as much for a package of diapers and have a pleasant shopping experience, and not have to deal with hordes of welfare families strong-arming their uneducated a*sses through the aisles.
That's just my opinion.

I used to love Walmart. I could go in and buy everything I needed. That was great after having a baby. But I am beginning to hate the place. I spend way too much money there. After I start buying a product and enjoying it, they discontinue it. Then I have to look elsewhere for refills or whatever. Their food costs way more than it would in the grocery store. Their prices stay low only until they drive competitors out of business; then they charge you an arm and a leg for stuff. Their products are not good quality. The clothing they sell unravels if you wash it. The employees are not helpful, don't know the answers to your questions, and can't tell you where to find what you are looking for. A few of them are sometimes downright rude (but that can happen in any store.) The whole store is clogged with people, and you have to wait in line forever even though they have 24 check out lanes. I am finding more enjoyable places to shop every week. Walmart pretends to care about people and pretends to be making life easier for people, but all they really care about is MONEY. Plus, when my husband tried working there, he discovered that they don't pay enough to support a single man let alone one with a family.

Uggg - HATE IT!!!!! Cheap merchandise, bad hiring practices, poor treatment of employees...Do I really need to continue? I reside in Pa and Walmart has to pay MILLIONS in a class action suit filed - and won - by its employees throughout the state. Reason being, they required workers to work overtime hours off the clock, and skip breaks. These people were never paid for the hours they worked.

In a pinch I love that its there for cheaper specific items and you are pretty assured they will have what you want when you want it. As far as shopping there everyday and watching them take away lots of small businesses and kill small towns, its sad and I definitely dont support it. I dont go to walmart as a habit - just as a choice maybe 5-10 times a year.

If your old enough to remember what things were like before Walmart came to town your shopping was limited especially in smaller rural towns. Now you can go to 1 store for nearly everything. Don't expect to get much help as they don't know much or I should say most either don't know or don't want to know there products.

All in All there a good thing.

love the pricing, but hate the fact that their profit margin is so high while their employees are draining the welfare programs of the various states they are located in, also the construction of walmarts are usually subsidized by the locality they are located in. i try to visit target instead of walmart whenever possible.

i like it! i will purchase the comparable issues for decrease priced expenditures that ought to be rediculously greater at yet another shop! Why pay extra for something once you may get the comparable element for plenty extra low priced at WalMart? i bypass there a minimum of as quickly as a month oftentimes.

Secretly love it. I try not to think about the poor homeless orphans all over the world breaking their backs for 3 cents a day. But I love that I can get an enormous TV for $126.57 and DVD's for less than 5 bucks, and....

At least I'm honest about it.
