Islam is a religion of peace. There is a oldest Mosque in China which was built in 1749. no muslim scholars and people has gone to China in 17th Century.
So, now you can understand.
Now this violence is going on is same when saladdin taken over spain and almost going to take over whole europe. That time Christian Priest killed their Priest collegue and tell that Muslim forces has killed a Priest ignited hater against the Muslims.
Now the Jews making all the thing to make Islam a bad name by making Christian a puppet for their own benefits. Did you guys seen "The Passion of Christ" the last supper.. then man who kiled Jesus Christ was the Jew.

Terrorism is very abstract...the definition is ambiguous...and depending on who's side you are on, it's dfficult to place the blame on one religious group. Many religious zealots advocate and carry out violence on behalf of their religion...it happens all over the world unfortunately. Terror is terror, whether the violence is being carried out by a suicide bomber or with the help of Lockheed Martin. Religion can be used to justify great deeds and likewise can be used to justify the worst deeds. It all comes down to intepretation. You shouldn't judge a whole people based on the actions of a few (although this can be hard to do). If you read about the religion through a respectable source, you can make your own judgment w/ out outside influences. Try Yusuf Ali's commentary on Islam.

I have no ideas about Islam, my theory on life is live and let live.
Although terrorism is a fact of life in today's world, have you checked out the religions of all the people being housed in the American prison system lately?
Violence and crimes are committed by all kinds of people from all kinds of religious backgrounds.
Stop being a hater and take a class on grammar so you can have a slight chance of being taken seriously. Poor spelling is bad enough, but come on people, there is a frigging spell checker right in front of you!!!!

OK, I'm Muslim 100%...let me tell you something, our religion is so peaceful and full of love that some people will never understand that. We love people we don't hate anyone, in our religion it specifically says not to harm anyone nor kill anyone, or anything. The people that you see that is doing all this is out of their mind but also are protecting their country(Iraq). You would be doing the same thing is God for-bed someone tried or even thought of hurting your family. So no don't let the media fool you. Please. Please. And the Media is a whole other topic, I can sit here all day talk about them. I hate them more than anything else.

Islam is not teaching or provoking any one to kill.
About your another question, I would like to ask you that why this question is arose when there are no Muslims behind any terrorist activities? Just give the name of specific incident of terrorism, then you will find that who is behind the bomb blasts. Do you think no Muslim is behind them?
There is not a matter of religion, it is a matter of ideology and politics, whether they are Arabs, al-quida paid mules, or Nepali Maoists or Indian naxals or any other cult. Every thing is in the name of ideology. A huge transaction of money is to be paid to the carriers and their families. One who wins he is right. So they are fighting to prove them. Muslims are killing non Muslims and also the Muslim Siya-Sunni. The war can be in the name of God or Allah but their target is to acquire power.

As I have understood, the initial teachings of Mohammed are highly pacifistic. As he won over his oppressors, his teaching seem to be bordering on militancy. Especially the theory like jihad etc seem to have been based on his later utterances. You know, the utterances of Mohammed are too sacred to be called into question. Other wise, Islam appears to me, a non-Muslim, a practical religion, putting much premium on the oneness of God and the universal brotherhood. The Muslim brethren need to do a lot of introspection as to whether the fair name of their religion be sullied by the so called ulemmas and all those who claim to be speaking for Islam, by propagating violence and intolerance on others who profess different faith.

ISLAM is a religion which lays great emphasis of cleanliness of body and mind , but unfortunately the teachings have been misinterpreted and projected by a few groups of perverted people, in an attempt to retaliate against the maliced propaganda of few other similar groups in other religions.

I'm Christian, but I don't believe Islam itself to be the problem. The problem is people who do horrible things to other people in the name of their religion. They twist and turn religious beliefs into fundamentalist laws and then use them for oppression and terrorism. I know practicing Muslims and Islam is a religion of peace. (All religions have examples of violence in ancient history.) People need to stop killing in the name of God, Allah, or whatever deity they serve.
