"Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell" is a fantastic book, I highly recommend it. It may look at little long when you first see it, but by the end I was wishing it was even longer. It uses sophisticated language but is still readable. Anglophiles will love this book... it's very British.

If you're into Chick Lit, the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich is really great. Anything by Susan Elizabeth Phillips is also great and funny. If you're interested in more suspense thrillers, James Patterson, John Grisham, Vince Flynn, David Baldalcci and Jeffrey Deaver. The Harry Potter series is also fun to read. It's long but very fun.
Hope these help and happy reading!

Anthem, We the Living, The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. The last one is my favorite but also the longest, it's hard to put it down though.
