What kind of clips do i buy for lights on my roof? Do i staple?

There should be light clips in the same isle as the one with the Christmas lights, I think you can get different sizes, but not positive though. They are really easy to use too! I wouldn't staple unless you were planing on keeping the lights up, it just makes take down more difficult in my mind!

uhh i know this from my dad.. there are little plastic light clips you put on the gutters, if u want them like that and theres like some thing u can put on like the actual base of the roof (if u want your whole roof covered in lights and not just the edge..). You CAN staple, but you might not want to because it may damage it. Definitely dont staple anything to the gutters or else youll have holes in it.. and that wont be too great. plus, like the person above me said, the clips are definitely a time saver.. i know that from experience. We used to be able to staple at our old house since it was vinal, but then we discovered the clips at walmart and only took about and hour to do, opposed to a whole afternoon. hope i helped.

We just staple them to our roof. Grab a heavy duty stapler, and staple away! Just makes sure you don't put the staple through the cord itself. Plus it's a lot easier to take down when the season is over, and you can't see any clips holding them out, although I know they make them in different colour so they blend in.

we hang icicle lights across the front of our home & secure them to the roof with some little white plastic clips that we got from Walmart. They work great & it takes us about half the time to put up the lights then when we used to staple them.

i could reccommend KC daylighters, yet once you propose on breaking them interior the direction from low bushes er what have you ever be like me and purchase the Wal Mart platinum burners. they're $25/pair, and are brighter than my Cherokee's lights fixtures at night.

We have lights that we hang on these hooks that are like attached to the gutter.
