Should I invite him to go to the conference?

There's a guy I know at work, just a friend. Should I invite him to go to the conference coming up in Nov. at the WI Dells? It's for consumers. We don't talk much but I know he likes me as a person because he says hi any chance he gets. He went to the same conference 2 years ago...

You can start a conversation about the conference and ask him what to expect. Ask him if there's any sights you should take in while there (I'm assuming it is in the same city)...and then gradually ask him if he'd like to go with you so he can show you around and you won't feel so lost. Make it seem quite casual and if he likes you he'll probably jump at the idea.
