Get the Si.
Performance wise, both cars are going to be even. For example the Si has 197hp from the factory and the RSX has 201hp (Type S) the base model is 155hp. Both are available with a 6-speed manual transmission,
The RSX Type S starts around 23k
The base model RSX starts around 20k
The Civic Si starts around 21k
The Si is a little less money, but the same performance as the Type S.
I have nothing against the RSX, because it is an awesome car, but I would go with the Si. You will end up saving yourself a few thousand dollars that you could use on the HFP options for the Si. (Honda Factory Performance) The factory HFP lip kit for the Si makes it look twice as mean. With the RSX you are just paying for luxury options that aren't really necessary, like leather seats, the Si has some sweet Recaro's in it...who needs leather when you got Recaro's. See what I mean? Anywho...good luck with your choice.

I would get the Civic SI. It's cheaper and performance wise, it's about the same.
That's why Honda is going to cease production of the RSX after 2006. They feel that the Civic SI will take it's place.

I own and RSX. Get the Si, you'll save around $4000. If you're looking for an 07, there is no RSX. It has been discontinued.

neither, get the 07 nsx. its a lot faster.. lol. personally i'd go for the rsx, even though its a little more money, you'll like it more. its just a little more refined then the si. but on the contrary, its not a luxury division of honda, its the american division and as such is only sold in the us. where as to being better quality parts, don't know. but it is most definatly better made. i would personally rather buy the new lexus is350.. must faster and is rear wheel drive...
