Basicially does Asians Americans and Pacfic Islanders belong to a single Asian Americans culture?

Try asking an asian aquaintance whose ethnic origin is known to you if they are from a different group of asians. For example someone who is korean if they are chinese or japanese.

I asked a Korean girl I worked with if she was chinese, her response might have been merited if I'd asked if she was some kind of monkey. She was offended at the suggestion that she was chinese. Acted like koreans were better than other kinds of asians.

The answer is no. There's an elitism tied up in ehtnic identity. The tighter the circle of etnic identity a person draws around themselves the greater the degree of elitism involved.

No, they are very different cultures Pacific Islanders to refer to themselves as Asian. & Some Pacific Islanders are mixed with Black.

i myself ought to care much less approximately any ones race lifestyle or faith ! in basic terms as long as they stay in u . s . of america & that they Love u . s . of america & have confidence in our Heavenly Father & our Savior Jesus Christ . If no longer then they must be deported back to their own place of disbelief and stay there 4 ever greater .
