it is not wrong to get a little depressed from time to time. but you need to try to find some way to get yourself out of this depression. you are right that life is to short to feel this way...why make it even shorter by committing suicide? i think calling the suicide hotline posted above would be a good idea...please call right now.

Is it wrong to feel pain? Is it wrong to experience injury? Yes, depression will make you rightly feel like SOMETHING is wrong. You are no more wrong to feel like it is wrong to feel depressed than it is wrong for you to feel hunger or sleepy.

Since you are thinking suicide, you need some help. Find a mental health clinic or psychologist or better yet a psychiatrist (who can better see if your mental state has roots in your physical state because a psychiatrist is also a medical doctor).

In the meanwhile, here is a routine I SUGGEST for you, until you are where you need to meet the doctor or attend an emergency room, etc., think of where you are SUPPOSED to be, and follow your routine. Whether you feel like living, if you are supposed to be seeing someone or doing something--do it. You don't have time to bother with killing yourself. In the meanwhile, hopefully, that will keep you near people who will also help see that you do yourself no harm.

Right now, you are SUPPOSED to find a phone book and call a mental health expert, at the moment any will do as long as you are talking to a person. If you get a recording, leave a detailed message and call someone else. Okay?

There's nothing wrong about feeling depressed, what's wrong is to think that your problems are so grave that you have to think about suicide.
I'm not saying that you have not any reason to be depress, we all go through it and at times we wish we didn't exist.
This is the week part of us being human.
When this happens I look within myself and realize how fortunate I am to live in a free country, to have a roof over my head, food on my table and family and friends.
People in poor countries do not have time to be depressed, they are too busy thinking about their survival and making it through another day. We in the developing world has been so spoiled that we've become selfish.
I gratify myself by helping someone in need. That makes me feel good and it lifts my spirit to know that I exist.
Be strong and go out there and do things for yourself and others.
Time waits for no one.

It's not wrong, it's normal... following through on those thoughts is wrong... you're not the only one going through this, so talk to someone... a counselor, a friend, a parent, a hotline, someone... think of all the people you'd be hurting by taking something as precious as your life away... Think of your parents, your siblings (if you have any), your friends... there's a song by Dave Matthews Band that I want you to look up called "Grave Digger"... there's a part in it that might speak to you...

"Muriel Stonewall- 1905 to 1954
She lost both of her babies in the second Great War
Now, you should never have to watch as your only children are lowered in the ground
I mean, never have to bury your own babies

Grave digger
when you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain"

Think of how your parents will feel if they have to bury their child... Good luck

I was feeling the same way as you, but I realize that nobody is more important than myself, so if everyone else wants to be against me, I don´t care, they are waisting their time, don´t commit suicide... you need to be brave and start doing things that you enjoy and first of all you should start loving urself...

I hope it helps... and believe is not wrong but is wrong if u stay there for a looooong time!

It could be a chemical imbalance making you feel this way. One pill a day and you'll be feeling good again. Please get a blood test. And for the record, if it isn't that, you are not alone in feeling this way. I'd say 75% of the people I know are either depressed or taking anti-depressants. And I know a lot of people, gay & straight!

You poor thing! Go and see the doctor, get the problem sorted out. You should feel alone. There are other people out there like you who are suffering. Dont kill yourself. Look after yourself. Someday things will change, and you will feel better. Take care of yourself.

Seek professional help.

Cal your local crisis line, the number is usually found in the front cover of your local telephone book.

Or call 1-800-SUICIDE

Dear friend
Don't give up yourself!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe you can't live the life you want now, as long as you are sure and believe you really want to be like that. ( I mean the thing you want to do or to be.) I ensure you that you can get what you want later in your life.
