Try phoning the airport or whoever sold you the ticket. You'll get a better answer much more quickly than on here.

I flew to Stansted from Baden a few weeks ago. Technically, It wasn't clear whether liquids were allowed flying in to the UK, and the checks at Baden were pretty minimal. I preferred to avoid the risk though and didn't take any liquids.
On the way home flying out of Stansted though it was another matter - miles of queues, and definitely no liquids, creams etc. So apart from the obvious drinks, yogurts etc, for ladies it's no hand cream, lipstick, make up.
I'd just avoid liquids all together - you can buy what you want after security, in the duty free lounge. Also, if flying out of Stansted, aim to check in as soon as the desk opens, and go STRAIGHT to the security proceedures. When I was waiting to board, nearly every flight was offloading luggage due to passengers stuck in the security queues!

I just returned from Heathrow, and the security checks are in full swing.
1 handbag ONLY, NO liquids, even toothpaste, perfumes.
Items bought at the Duty free shop in the UK must be accompanied by a valid sales slip.

I went through the checks twice and it was awkward.
Long queues, hundreds of people in each direction.

The regulations are still in force as per today.

Yes. My son flew with Ryanair from Stanstead to Sweden with his football academy on Monday of this week and he was not allowed to take a drink with him. There are still strict rules there so guess it's the same wherever you are flying from or to because it will still be with Ryanair.
