UMaine has the only civil engineering program in Maine, but if I don't get accepted, could I go to UNH for the same program?

probably... but if it's like other states, you'd have to pay out-of-state tuition.

UNH may have some sort of deal with Maine, though... or Maine itself may have a deal if they want to encourage more civil engineers.

You can apply to UNH if you don't get into UMaine but you'll have to pay out of state tuition at UNH if you don't live in New Hampshire.

Since your state already has a civil engineering program you probably aren't eligible for the tuition discount that many New England Colleges offer when only 1 school offers 1 type of program.
