The Best thing to do is throw the Centrum in the garbage, where it belongs, or better yet, demand a refund. This potentially toxic product has industrial waste products like nickelous sulfate, chromic chloride, and sodium selenite, which are detrimental to one's health, in even small amounts. If you want details and confirmation through government databases, or epidemological studies go to www.centrumistoxic.com. Its an eye opener.

Vitamins shouldn't damage your stomach at all. I would take them after breakfast so they get dissolved better with the food and provide you with energy for the day.
Have a great day!!!

I've learned to take them immediately after a meal. If I take them on an empty stomach, I will typically end up nauseous.

Eat before you take the vitamin. It aids in the digestion of the vitamin.
