If you surf the web, all the internet history will go to tht drive that IE is installed on. If IE is installed on C:/ then the cookies, temp files, temp internet files with be on the C:/ drive. Unless you install IE on the other drive (not possible) then the files will show up on the drive.
You can't really "install" an external drive, you plug it in to a power source and plug the USB or firewire cable into the pc...no really that hard...

If you use Internet Explorer the history of the websites you visit will be stored on the main hard drive where windows is installed. You can change where the temporary internet files are saved by going to tools-->internet options-->settings-->move folder.

An alternative would be to buy a flash drive and install the firefox browser to the flash drive. This would keep all your browsing hidden on the flash drive.

Yes it will still show on the internal hard drive cos it is the primary hard drive and it was not disconnected from the system while installing the external one and it has its own space on the internal.I hope i've answered your question.olawale

Yes it will,

if you get netscape or firefox and INSTALL
them on your external drive they will store
all of your cached files to the external drive
and not your internal one.
