Liberals love Palestinians and the poor Palestinian people, you know, the ones that killed most of the Israeli Olympic team, the Palestinians that keep blowing up innocent Israelis on a bus coming home from work, and the Palestinians that raise children to hate and want to become martyrs for Islam. Yep, those Palestinians, the liberals just love them.

Alrite, most of this is your own opinion, which you are welcome to.
Just because they are the most persecuted people of all time does not give them the right to do the things that they have been doing. Have you heard of the Mossad? Of course not every Israeli is a terrorist, let's not stereotype here. America does not support their actions, the businessmen and women that have taken over the american governmnet support them because they have the same agendas.
Ugghh there is so much here for me to say. Does God not say "all men (and women)are created equal" So if God said that how can there be a chosen people? There is not Israeli terrorism here in america because that would go against their interests. Have you heard of the Israeli actions against the Palestinians in Gaza?
They are basically starving them out. Did you hear about the recent Israeli invasion of Lebanon? They basically destroyed S Lebanon, because of a small border skirmish in which a couple Israeeli soldiers were taken captive. These skirmishes happen on a regular basis. It's almost as if WW III is being instigated.

I am fairly conservative, but I have to admit that I haven't heard any liberals or the liberal media (i.e. CNN) call Israel a terrorist nation. I think, if you look at it objectively, it depends on which side of the Gaza strip you are on. If you are a Palestinian, you feel oppressed and terrorized by the Israelis. If you are an Israeli, you feel wary or the Palestinians and terrorized by Hamas.
It all dates back to the biblical conflicts between the nations. But if you think about "God's chosen people", I think that all people have the chance to become one of God's chosen people. "For God so loved the WORLD that he gave his only begotten son..."
What needs to happen will never happen in this generation. The Israelis and Palestinians need to sit down at a table of truce and agree that they practice different religions. In a free world, the Palestinians deserve their own nation and the right to live in peace in that nation. By the same token, the Israelis deserve to live in peace with out fear of bombings.
But for this to happen, there would have to be an outbreak of common sense. And history shows us that this is not going to happen any time soon.

Obviously you have no common sense or you would not have had to ask this question. There are many terrorist acts that have been commited by Israel. Here is one:
http://www.ussliberty.org/
and another:
http://www.alternet.org/story/39518/
Also, if you had any knowledge of history you would know that by our own standards our American Government commits terrorist acts constantly. IE: False Flag Operations, Overthrowing Governments that do not follow our policies(they tried in Venezuela a few times, Iran, Iraq, etc., etc.) We even harbor terrorists, (Luis Posada Carilles, Al Zawahiri had a residence in Marathon, FL)
I don't know anyone personally who has died, however, I do know many Israelis who have fled their country because they don't agree with the attrocities their country commits.

I didn't even bother to read beyond "persecuted people of all time." You made the first mistake in discussing Israeli politics and forgot to distinguish between Jews as a people and Israel as a country. Otherwise we would all have mud on our face for anything the government has done wrong.
Criticizing the government is criticizing the government, not necessarily the people.

As an American I cannot talk about Isreal being a sponser of terrorism, but I am smart enough to know that I have about as much chance of being mauled by a shark as I do of being killed in a terrorist attack. So why is our media so obsessed with it?
Maybe because the truly wealthy need a scared helpless public? Perhaps, just maybe

The Palestinian authorities called them militants. AP just reported that. Since there was no evidence that these people personally performed an act of terrorism, there was no reason for the AP to address them as terrorists. Maybe they were, maybe they weren't. Just because you want to call everybody in the middle east a terrorist, does not mean others have to follow your example. Also your definition of militant has no basis in reality.

Oh yeah? God's chosen people? Hmmmm and yet they treat the Palestinians like they are sub-human and slaves? Have you ever looked at how the "chosen" ( by the way...who chose them anyway?) really treat the people of the world around them?
I agree that what happened in Germany in WWII was the most terrible thing...but hey, time to move along....it's 2006 not 1956. Who decided that they could just "claim" a piece of the world? How did Israel become Israel anyway?
I have never called them "terrorists" and I resent the generalized statement...let me guess your republican and gets lots of money from the Jews...oops not politically correct...
Practice your religion in good health and faith. Don't force it down my throat and don't put words in my mouth because I may be a Democrat....and why do you think that all Democrats are liberals? Ya know, speaking of "sheer ignorance" maybe you ought to look around you...and see who on the west bank is locking people up, limiting their ability to get jobs, limiting their ability to feed and educated their children in an environment that is healthy and free of fear and hate...seems to me that the Israel needs to follow it's own teachings! They are pretty nasty for people that call themselves "chosen".

I am an Atheist and do not believe Isreal is a terrorist state at all. All isreal has been doing over the past 30 years is defending itself from the Islamo-Facists (muslims) that surround their country. Isreal is a great country and a very advanced country. They have tech business, they develope new products, and have a very healthy economy. The muslims do not like this and are jealous of Isreal and therefore want to eliminate them (also becuase they don't believe in the terrible religion of islam). Groups like Hammas and Hezzbollah fire their rockets from civilian areas and then move quickly so when Isreal strikes-back, they end up killing citizens. So, the muslims are really just killing their own people and unfortunatly the press does not do a good job of showing the truth. Prphet Mohhamed can suck my dic*k and I hope Isreal keeps fighting the muslims back then they attack them.

I am a Liberal and i do not believe Israel is terrorist nation and I don't know of any Liberal who have said that ( get your head out of the spin zone Fox news ). Israel have to fight groups like we are crying about in Iraq all of it's existence and in the Lebanon war they talked about Israel killing civilians, all terrorists are Civilians. So as i said kick that Fox channel to the curve, they're really messy.

I'm a left leaning Independent and I have never called Israel a terrorist nation. Blanket assumptions are never a good idea if you wish to make a strong argument.
