Hard question. Greek culture vastly influenced Roman culture which vastly influenced the whole Western world through the Roman Empire and Pax Romana. I would say that Roman culture is more influencial because the Roman empire become a vehicle for the spread of Christianity from the 4th century onwards. Christianity... for better or for worse... has been extremely influential in the world.

That is a difficult question to answer, because much of Roman culture developed from Greek culture. Therefor, technically Greek culture had the greatest affect on the world.

By the same token, Roman infrastructure has had the greatest impact on world advancement. The aqueducts brought water to places that previously could not support agriculture. That brought people to new locations and spread the population quickly.

Once again, that is a difficult question to answer. Without the Greek culture to fuel the Roman Empire, advancement of humanity might have been much slower.

Take care,

easily the Romans. Their contributions the two to our regulations and our language are huge. Fifty according to cent of all English words at present have a Latin beginning (vs. basically 33 according to cent for the unique German).
