i want to store a dvd on my computer and i dont know how to do this do you have any ideas?

put the dvd in to ur computer then click on my computer right click on the lil dvd icon then copy and paste in on to ur computers hard drive. when u put the dvd in to the computer it should pop up and ask u what u want to do.i.e play,copy etc...so the very best of luck to you hope it works failing that a good bloody hammer works every time lol

Put the DVD in the drive and open my computer then right click that drive.
Click on explore then copy and paste all the file into a folder of your choice.
If the protection will let you...you can then play it on, for example, power DVD

DVD Shrink is a good program from here-http://www.freewebs.com/stallerit/index.htm (Go to Free Programs down the left hand side.) Hope this helps

Open the DVD by manually via My computer ... and look for the video file ... and then drag and drop by mouse in your Documents (My Documents or elsewhere) and double click the file ... it will play ....

Depends on whether you want to compress it or just copy the whole 4.7 GB! If you want to compress it and savespace use Dr. Divx (www.divx.com) if not just plain windows functions Copy and Paste on your hard drive the whole content of the DVD!
