Short of, say, abandoning a major US city, starting a war with false evidence, raising the debt by trillions while applying highly uneven tax cuts....lying to the public, overriding the constitution, etc etc etc. Soliciting young boys on the internet, wiretapping, spying.
Are your heroes infallible in your eyes? Or is there really something they could ever do that would change your perspective on them?

How to fix it? Easy...vote them out of office. Their policies are 99% of what's wrong right now. We need politicians who will do what's best for the country, not what is best for themselves. Stealing from the US Treasury isn't exactly helping us.

You can answer the question without agreeing with the examples. The question is: is there anything that could happen that wouldn't have you trying to spin and explain, "Really, this is for the best because..."

You bet they can disappoint me. Fail to appoint true conservatives to the Surpreme Court. Fail to amend the constitution to protect the institute of marriage; failure to stand up to the dems/libs; failure to win the Iraqi war; but the biggest disappointment of all by the Republicans is that they are trying real hard to out Democrat the Democrats.
George Wallace was right. Put the Reps/Dems in a bag and shake them up......then there ain't but a dime's worth of difference.
Now does that mean i will vote for a left wing wild eyed tax gay loving liberal........not a chance Buddy Boy......not a chance.

I've been "disappointed" for several years now.
And I'll be voting for change, come November 7th.
I've NEVER voted straight ticket, I always for the person, NOT the party.
And I do NOT have any hero's within the party.
I do hold a few in high esteem than others...John McCain, for one.
But this party is a bust, a real disappointment.
And I have to say, the ONLY reason I've not switched parties is because the Democrats just don't get it (whatever "it" is).
The Dems have a golden opportunity to pick up the middle class vote, yet they keep shooting themselves in the foot while they shoot off their mouth and continue to drift "left" of far-left.
It is WAY past time for a third party...a fiscally-responsible party that is compassionate to the underdog (those who need better education, health care, etc..).

Your obviously lost.
The state abandoned New Orleans moron. Hell the Govnor didn't even know the levees were broken more than four hours after.
Do a little research...the war was not under false pretense. i disagree with a lot of it, but it happened and we are committed...stop crying and help us get a solution.
Show me where the constitution is overwritten. Come on...show me.
The man was 18 hero...more democratic propaganda. It was wrong and i am glad he stepped down, but at least my party has not pardoned two Convicted Child Molesters
Wire tapping has gone on since the dawn of the telephone. Where have you been?
Spying...yea...look behind you quick! Oops...you missed the guy spying on you....
Gotta love people like you...they provide endless entertainment.

okay - first of all, there has never been a president that everyone has been totally happy with ....... obviously you have forgotten yourself of all the tripup messes Mr and Mrs Clinton President(s) made while in office
the fact of the matter is that if it had not been this war there would be another for this is foretold prophecy .... due to the selfishness of mankind
if you could do better - perhaps you should have run ..... that job is one that I do not envy anyone - for it is always easier to be an armchair quarterback than get out and do what you can to better your world
both parties have huge issues and all the while taking us down the drain with them .... the politicians as a whole are so busy bashing each other while we are blindly paying them to do this and not their jobs
may God have mercy on our nation!!!

This question has been asked in a thousand different ways.
Yes, the republicans can disagree with something a republican politician does, says, or believes!
We don't have a problem saying so, when we disagree. Why can't you libs find anything wrong with your liberal hero's, like nancy pelosi?
Why must you try to turn questions about yourself around, on to us?
I don't like the immigration stance, nor all the money wasted on many social programs.
Do you libs like the fact that clinton cut them, or bush funded them?

If Obama has not anything to cover, what is the enormous deal? These mystery situations are a detriment to an sincere govt. I suppose we must be allowed to seek all public officers historical past to be definite they're what they are saying they're.

Well, yes. Currently, the Republicans could disappoint me if they give in to the weak-kneed, lily-livered, whining liberals and cut n run, short of a clear victory, of some kind, in Iraq.
Ditto with every other appeasement of liberals in this country.

Typical democrat...always saying what is wrong but never offering advice on how to fix it or say what they stand for. Let me guess, you stand for the opposite of what you typed?
