i took my first "drag" at 12.
i started smoking and buying them at 14. i'm 28 now and quit two weeks ago.

I had my first cigarrette when I was 11, but did not pick up the habit until I was 16. I regret it every day. I am still (at age 32) struggling to quit. I really don't know why I started. My best friend in high school smoked as did most people I hung around with and I just kind of picked it up, but I really wish I hadn't.

I started smoking at 13.... I quit when i was 16 -19 because i was pregnant with my kids and i have smoked for the last 3 years i need to quit its a bad habit.... Weird thing i hate the taste so when i smoke i have to either have a piece of gum or mint in my mouth..... Thats a sign to quit Im sure...

I started smoking when I was 13 cause all my friends smoked. Now I'm addicted to them so bad I can't think of giving them up. it's the only vice I have left. Every time someone or something mentions about not smoking I want to light one up.

I started off & on when I was 13 and pretty steady at 16 and quit july 10, 2003 when I brought my first son home.

I started because my friend kept asking me if I wanted one whenever she'd light hers.After hundreds, possibly thousands of times getting asked, I finally said "Sure, I'll take one." I was 15. Now I'm 25.

I was 14 and yes it gave me a buzzy feeling at 1st and I hated that part of it.
