You are an awesome and strong young lady. No it is not a waste of time to wait! There are very few things in life that are sacred and precious. As a woman, this is an awesome gift you can give and share with someone who is meant for you and only you. You keep steadfast and strong and know that you are walking on the right path!!!

You should wait, I think that's a very respectful decision. Someone who doesn't respect you for it, I wonder what their goals are. I wish I'd waited very much, even though I didn't have many partners before I got married. It's certainly not a waste of time to wait, although if you marry someone with "experience", you might feel self-conscious about your lack of experience. However, I'm sure your marital partner would be wonderful in that situation. Be proud of yourself.

Respect. I think that u should wait. There's nothing wrong with waiting. Cause I do believe that there's someone amazing out there for everyone. Hey I'm 21years old and still. I don't have anything against those of aren't. It is everyone's choice in the end as to what they want to do. And sometimes it just happens. But I respect u for wanting to wait. Keep it up.

it would be a waste if you were 70 but you are only 18 so wait until you are ready to give up your virginity cos it will be worth the wait when you have found someone special to share it with instead of just a quicky you will regret. so Kylie i think you should be strong and do what pleases you

Good for you! No it's not a waste of time, it is very much worth it. I don't know why people are in such a big rush. As soon as you are married you can have sex as much as you want, you'll probably even get tired of it! I waited and am so glad I did. Not only is it special, it's also a lot safer and healthier too!

I waited until I was 30 and I definitely made the right decision. I met my soulmate, gave him my virginity (because I decided when I would give it up).

We dated for 6 months before we slept together and it was the most romantic experience of my life.

We eventually got married and now have 2 kids.

I love being able to say that I have only slept with one man in my life and that is my husband.

He wishes he could say the same, but men aren't as dedicated to maintaining their virginal status.

I don't regret waiting one bit.

I think that your decision is a wonderful one. I think you are making the right decision. I wish I had waited until marriage. I feel that I got pressured into having sex by an ex boyfriend. I would have loved to share that experience with my husband. I realize how hard it has been to make that choice, just be proud of yourself.

I think that waiting for the right person to share your love with like that is not only a good idea, but it shows that you respect yourself and you loved one.
I'm glad to hear that you're going to wait until you are married and can share your love with that person.

No, it's not a waste of time. Any honest person who has had sex before marriage will say they wish they had waited. Trust me, it's not all that. It's a big hype.

I think it is terrific that you have decided to wait until marriage, it means you have great morals and wont give yourself to just anyone. Keep going and wait until your are married or truly in love with someone you will be glad you did.
