dont you have a usb cable so you can connect to a computer and recharge it?i think thats the only way

by ejecting your shuffle from iTunes and leaving it there for 4 hrs plugged in, or plug in to an AC Adapter from apple or other simular product and let charge.

Take off the cap and plug it directly into your computer via USB.

ok... so when you plug your shuffle into your computer and its in itunes loading songs it will charge.it says it will take 4 hours but it doesnt always take that long. let me know if you have problems.

You have to plug it into the USB cable that came with it.
