I had two previous postings I put up about my two previous miscarriages. Just last month I was talking about how my boyfrend and I were both in pain over the loss of our child and how I was having a had time conceiving. And I trully thought we would spend another 3 yrs trying

So many of you gave me comforting advice, saying it would happen and once I know how my body works it will happen, and links to web sites.

On one site I charted my ovulation (as I had many times before, but then I was doing it myself counting on the calendar) . My Fiance' was out of town for a few days and we only got to make love the day after I started ovulating

My period should have came on this past friday and it still hasn't, my breasts which are usually a small 36b are a very full 36b. and I'm having cramping, like very gently cramps and have been feeling them since thursday

I took a preg test on saturday and it was neg.

I am like 98% sure I am preg.

Do you think I am?

Anything is possible.
In all the advice that was given to you did anyone tell you that your egg is only available for fertilization for a 24 hr period?

So if you had sex after this day then chances are you are not pregnant.

But... given the fact that it is hard to tell exactly what day you are going to ovulate it is still possible that you may be pregnant.

However, the symptoms you describe are typical PMS.

I know this is easier said than done but the more you stress over this the more likely your periods are not going to be regular. Try to relax and let nature takes its course.

You can have sex further than 2 days before ovulation and get pregnant. I haven't seen a site yet that put all the facts together in one place so I wrote up an article about it with sources.

http://geocities.com/zine4real_life/Articles/091906_sex_education_101.htm

Hope this helps

I did fail to mention in the article that chances of pregnancy are higher by having sex before you ovulate rather than when you ovulate. A doctor told me that chances of fertilization the same day you have sex is highly unlikely. It takes a while for the sperm to actually swim up that far. So if you have sex the same day you ovulate chances are the egg will no longer be available by the time the sperm can reach it.

Taking a store bought test the day after you were supposed to start your period was probably too early. It measures a hormone in your body that increases as the fetus starts to grow. At really low levels the tests like EPT or First Response can't detect it. The only way to test really early is a blood test. If you retake the test now, the hormone levels should be high enough for an accurate reading. If it still comes up negative then you can either wait for your period or talk with your doctor. However, you may be right and the test will now show positive, in which case you need to call your doctor for confirmation and to start getting prenatal care.

If you had sex the day after you ovualted, I doubt you are pregnant. You need to have sex the 2 days before ovualtion. Once you ovulate the egg only lives about 12 hours and there needs to be sperm already waiting in the fallopian tubes. Buy yourself some ovualtion test strips start using them on day 10 of your cycle, the will give you a positive 2 days before you ovualte, that is how I conceived.

I think the first sign up pregnancy for me was always...my breast were tender...my face broke out...I got head aches and then about after 3 weeks...I started getting morning sickness...I too could not pass a preganancy test until after I was already a few weeks pregnant....Sometimes...they just don't read right....

I would try another one this weekend and if that is still negative and you still haven't started...go to your Dr. and have them do a blood one....that will for sure tell you...and if there is something wrong with you...they should be able to tell that too...

You could wait a week and test again or go to the doctor. When I had my m/c @ 14 wks I didn't conceive again until seven month later. But some women get pregnant right away and go on to have successful pregnancies. My advice to you is to go to the doctor even if you find out you are not pregnant. If you are TTC it is good to be under a doctor's care.... Good Luck

Once you ovualte you have 12 hours to get pregnant in there... if you did the deed the day after you will most likely not be pregnant. Especially with a negative test. I could be wrong... wait it out a few days and try another test. Good luck.

Sounds like you are but the test might have been taken too early. Go to the doctor for definite. Remember the body feels what the head tells it to!

Given your history of previous miscarriages, I would call the doctor to schedule a blood pregnancy test if you take another HPT and it is negative.

You might be pregnant or your body might be playing tricks on you.

I don't think you are...you are still in your range for your period and your breasts are sore...whenever I got pregnant, the sore swollen breasts were only present weeks after my missed period. It is likely the miscarriage messed with your hormones and changed your cycle.
