You need to take at least 12 credit hours. Depending on how many credit hours each class this can be 4 classes each semester. Right now I am going to college full-time and I am taking 4 classes.

Don't beat yourself up! A full load is 12 hours or 4 classes. That is more than enough unless you are a genius!!! This will leave very little time for anything else except homework, sleeping and eating. Especially if you are unfamiliar with one or more of your courses.

Don't overload yourself. It's a waste of time and money. Best to take a 3/4 - full load to get your feet wet. Then if you feel you have extra time next semester you can add another course. A full time student is one who takes 12 hours. Anything more than that is too hard for most students.

A fulltime college student is considered to be a student taking 12 credit hours. so about 4 classes. If you want to graduate in less that 8 years, they recomend that you take at least 16 hours per semester. I changed my major my junior year and in my senior year took 20 hours my first semester and 22 hours my second, but i graduated college in 4 years, which is actaully a pretty rare thing to do nowadays.

Students receiving financial aid usually must take at least 12 hours per semester in order to be considered full time. In order to graduate on time in 4 years a student usually must take around 15 -16 hours per semester.

Full time students usually take 12-15 hours /credits that mean 4-5 classes. Certainly if you don’t work and you want to finish faster you could take more. But Rome was not conquered in a day… so why should you rush it when you could do it right.

That depends on how many credits you're taking and how many credits each class is worth. 5 -6 is pretty normal. I'm only taking 4 this semester because one of mine is a 4 credit class.
