Something that is small but there......Look at the warning lables onmost anything.....The pictures of the person doing everything right are always white....the people in the pictures who are doing things the way you are not suppose to, or falling down or missing hands are always black....I don't think it was intentional but its there and someone could probly make a big deal about it if they wanted...I am not racist but check out the warning labels on ladders or power tools.....you will see what I mean.

Use the ABStatistics - the differences in job type, income, higher education, prison rates, family make-up, birth and death rates, area of residence etc. etc. is quite amazing. The most amazing thing (in my opinion) about such issues is the determining factor: your parents - not just how they raise their kids - but simply who they are. If you're born into an upper-middle class white family - your chances of going to uni are soooo much higher. Your chance of going to jail or earning the minimum wage is significantly lower. Social mobility is still difficult to manage without exceptional circumstances or taking advantage of education and other elevating factors.
But how do these things show themselves in society: who are the doctors? Who are the cleaners? Who lives in the million dollar suburbs? Who fills our prisons and unis?

Caucasians have a weird habit of speaking of "...my black friend...", or "...I saw this Asian guy..." or "....and then this Arab lady got on the bus..." but you don't really hear them say "...my white boss..." or "...I saw this white guy..." or "...this white woman got in line...".
Society in general tends to smile more and be more reactive to people of a seemingly "higher class". Clothing, ethnicity, and a number of other factors determine who can use a restroom or other facilities, who can use a phone, who can park in no parking zone "for just a couple of minutes while I run inside". It is these little things that really let us know who is in charge.
