it's not painful but it takes a looooooooong time to take off 1 hair, it's really boring!

I tried something very similar. It _was_ painless -- the hair really does just slide right out.
Effective, though? Meh. Good odds it'll grow back.
Still, useful if you find regular tweezers painful. Caveat: the tweezers on them are not going to be as fine and precise as a good set of the usual kind.

i havent tried it...but it looks like electric tweezers...almost like a mini-elstrolyisis which is very painful...
