Why is he working for the FBI? Is he an exacutioner from Rimlac 3 or does he hunger for the sustanance of life?

I think you are confusing two roles on two different shows. he was a local Florida sherrif on Invasion, which was cancelled. He moved and took a job hunting down prison escappees.
