i dont know mr bungle so bit biased answer but i've gotta go with the chillies - i love their stuff. esp By The Way and Universally Speaking

Red Hot Chili Peppers hands down, are, and always will be better than Mr. Bungle.
For those of you who don't know who Mr. Bungle is, they are a band created in association with Mike Patton of Faith No More Fame.
RHCP are the all time innovators in the field of funk-rock and I believe that Mike Patton and the rest of his cronies from Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, peeping Tom, and the Fantomas (a few of Pattons other projects) wouldn't be famous had it not been for the Chili Peppers clearing a HUGE path.
Don't get me wrong, I do think Patton is a genius of sorts in a wierd freak show kind of way, all I'm saying is that there is really no comparison b/w the two, as I believe the Chili Peppers are the definitive masters of this muse.

up to, and possibly including, californication, i would say the chili peppers, but now i'm not so sure. they still have a more extensive discography (unless you count all patton's side projects) experience, etc., but mr. bungle has them beat in the creativity and live department, no doubt about it. the way things are now i would definitely be more inclined to buy an album or ticket for mr. bungle.

Flea is an awesome bassist but Bungle from rainbow was much better than the chilli peppers. having said that so were zippy and george.

Who the ********* ell are mr bungle? I saw chilis in summer and didn't feel in the slightest bit let down. brilliant, having said that, i think i prefer the killers!

Was the Red Hot Chili Peppers but after that last album(which I paid $18.99 for), THEY SUCK .
