My son did great with the Huggies diapers until a few days ago. I bought him size 3 diapers and they are not working for him anymore. I dn't want to buy this brand, because I'm scared that they are going to leak again even in a size bigger or with the overnights. Anyway, I'm looking for a good overnight diaper which is better at stopping leaks, Pampers Cruisers, White Cloud diapers, White Cloud Overnightes or Luvs diapers. My baby is a boy. Thank you for your time.

My baby's a girl, but so far we've found that Pampers knows diapers best! We prefer Cruisers over BabyDry. The absorbency, feel, tabs and fit of the diapers is better. (Although I think BabyDry has recently improved... we got one in the mail and it seemed softer.)
Huggies have always seemed to leak and the suggested weights have been WAY off for our little gal... with Huggies we've got to stop using them 5 lbs before they say. I had to sell 3 cases of size 1-2 Huggies that we'd stocked up on to a friend who had a baby after us. (We would've had PLENTY of time to use them if the weights had been right!!)
Huggies makes up for it with their wipes though! Pampers wipes are TERRIBLE. They're slippery and too small and the poop won't stick to them at all when you try to wipe off the bum-bum. It takes me twice as many wipes at every diaper change with Pampers Wipes. (Very often FOUR for a poop, which I'm sure is what Pampers wanted when they made them!!)
The points system from Pampers is kind of nice too. Sure the diapers cost more, but if they work and you can accumulate points towards a little toy for something that you have to buy anyway that's a good little bonus. (Still not enough to make me use their wipes though!!)
A colleague of mine at work recommended Superstore or Walmart (less expensive) diapers for daytime and the brand names for night-time. We haven't bothered with Kirkland or Wal-Mart or Superstore brands of diapers or wipes though because... well... don't fix what ain't broke. We've found one that works and seems to fit the bum-bum without leaking and we're staying with it until it doesn't.
I figure if those brands didn't work out then the money we'd be saving on cheaper diapers would be used up in the soap time and effort of trying to get stains out of her clothes.
Plus it's just as much of an embarassing hassle when you're out during the day and your baby is dressed all nicely when a poop explosion hits and then you have to put them in the "diaper bag emergency back-up clothes."
I've been wanting to try luvs, because suddenly they seem to be advertising quite a bit again, but I haven't seen them for years in Winnipeg, Canada.
Good luck!

I had the exact problem, except my child is a girl and I bought size 4. Anyway, I also like the Pampers Cruisers. My daughter is 16 months and can sleep up to 11 hours a night without waking up. I've had pretty good luck with Luvs (made by pampers), but not as good as the Pampers Cruisers.

I don't know where you live, but in NY CVS is a drug store and I love their diapers. But after having 4 boys and loving LUVS for years, they change their diapers last year to make them thinner and they tended to leak on me. I hate HUGGIES, they are expensive and they leak even in the afternoon. PAMPERS are good but again a little on the pricey side. I had one boy who would always leak through and I had to use a DIAPER DOUBLER> They almost look like a hospital size maxi pad with no adhesive backing and you place that inside the diaper and it gives it more absorbancy. I have been changing diapers for over 12 years now with my kids and my order of choice on the name brands would be PAMPERS< LUVS> AND LASTLY HUGGIES>
fyi - most store brand diapers will let you try them and return the opened package if your not happy with them.
Happy diapering.

Pampers Cruisers is the best by far. A little expensive, but they will hold liquids great! My son sleeps 11 hours at night with one Pampers Cruisers on and there are no leaks in the morning. They hold great!!!!

I have two children one boy and Luvs have been my diaper of choice with both of them. They are cheaper then Pampers and Huggies also. My second choice is always Pampers if they were out of stock in the Luvs.

Hi. I have 4 sons and find that Huggies work better for girls. I always use(d) the Pampers Baby Dry for my boys and they seldom leak. Make sure you change your son right before he goes to bed also.

We've been using pampers cruisers. It's not that you need a bigger size, it's just that huggies leak..........often.
I have also been told that Luvs work very well.
