If you're not seeing the characters, then try going to http://www.solon.org/cgi-bin/j-e/dict - it's a Japanese-English dictionary site. Go down to where it says "word starting with pattern" and in the box a few words down select "English". Then type "friendship" in the search box. Don't be intimidated by the number of responses you get, just pick the one that suits your meaning best! Click on the Japanese word, and it will show you the symbols.
Then go back to the first page and type "birthday" in the search box (leave off the "happy" here, or you'll confuse it). Go down the list, and you'll find the phrase "happy birthday".
