I'm really getting tired of it and just want to move, where is a good place to move away from all of this in California?

Somewhere in the Deep South where intolerance is encouraged? I mean if you hate where you live, then by all means, move. No one wants an uptight tight a*s for a neighbor.

Where in sunny CA are you? Some of the Northern CA cities are a bit more conservative, like Yreka, Redding, Corning and the such. Sacramento and Bakersfield are a bit more conservative, why don't you try there if you don't want to make a huge move?

best of luck to you. I hope you find somewhere that you find acceptable...but there is diversity everywhere. Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, North Korea and other countries where freedom is discouraged should be right up your alley, too.

There are lots of "middle-America" towns and cities where you might enjoy a better rapport with the local culture.

The only objection might be that your current inability to feel at home where you are, will also move with you? Perhaps defining your healthy boundaries might be a more inexpensive shift?

You can still be "You", and live contentedly wherever your hearth and home is.

Butt... should you move? Perhaps a little to the left, and do so as tight-lipped as possible.

Your 1st question: "should I move"? Your choice! But while within that atmosphere, think of what you can learn from it. We're always where we are 'for a reason' (so figure that one out first).

Your 2nd comment: "where is a good place to move away from all of this"?
Possibly that is Northern Idaho I hear calling for you?
Try it - You might like it!
Perhaps I'll join you.

Maybe you should consider moving your mindset. Seems conservatism has gotten the best of you.

Perhaps you are the one with the problem, I suggest you try a different planet perhaps??

You could always come to Wisconsin and get a whiff of our dairy air! Be prepared though- we only have two seasons here.... winter and construction. LOL
