i think your saying is that your period is never regular and that you had sex 7 days after your period? if it is, than you could be pregnant just wait 3 weeks and then take a pregnancy test or go to the doctor and do a blood test.

Hello. Let me make sure I understand your question. It sounds like you are saying that you have an irregular period (i.e. never the same amount of days in your menstrual cycle) and that you had intercourse seven days after the end of your last period.

If you have an irregular period/menstrual cycle, it may be hard to tell when your body ovulates. If it is regular, you'll usually ovulate on day 14 of your cycle (where day 1 is the first day of your period). So, if you started your period on day 1 and had your period from day 1 through day 7, then you had intercourse 7 days later, you most likely had intercourse while you were ovulating. This means that you may have gotten pregnant.

Refer to this site as it has very useful information on the menstrual cycle: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menstrual_cycle

Unfortunately, none of this is an exact science as every woman's body is different. Your best bet is to take an early pregnancy test (like EPT) to determine if you are pregnant.

I hope this helps!

If your periods are irregular, you really never know when you're fertile and when you're not. If you don't want to get pregnant, assume you're alway fertile and always practice birth control.

For most women, 7 days after your period end would be a very likely time to get pregnant.

If you're within 72 hours of having had unprotected intercourse, you can still take EC/morning after pill/Plan B (different names for the pill that prevents pregnancy.) If you're after 72 hours, you'll need to wait and see if you're pregnant and make your choice from there.

If your period is not regular (it would make your ovulation unpredictable) than it is hard to say whether or not you could be pregnant. I would have a blood test done.
