This is an idea given by my stupid friend after seeing Zack getting put into Shinra Mansion's basement in Final Fantasy VII: The Last Order.

Zack is the person that Cloud emulated. Zack and Cloud were captured in Nibelheim after the Sephiroth Go Crazy incident. Vincent was put in the coffin before the SGC because Lucrecia (Vincent's love and Hojo's assistant) was Sephiroth's mother. Vincent found out and was locked away. Also Vincent was a Turk while Zack was a SOLDIER.

No, Zack and Vincent Valentine are two different people. Vincent Valentine was in love with Hojo's assistant. Also Zack was the person that cloud led himself to believe to be. Cloud wanted to be in the ultra-exclusive SOLDIER so badly that he replaced his own life and experiences with Zacks. Lucrecia was also Sephiroths adopted mother, as Jenova the Ancient was his birth Mother. if You Purchase Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, it has a section on the DVD that explains the whole story of Final Fantasy VII.

Been a while since I played but I really think that Zac's only purpose was to really confuse people. LOL. But really he was the real version of Cloud. It was Zac's memories that Cloud had. So in essence Cloud was Zac?? I never played the game consecutively so the storyline had me a bit confuzzled!
