I have looked everywhere on the Cingular website, but I can't find it...My phone is a samsung d-807...I need the tone because I have an annoying insurance person calling me and you can't block numbers on a cell phone...

Setting it to vibrate will make all my calls vibrate...I only want this call to be silent...

I have seen the silent ringtone before, but I can't find it again...

You arent stupid. The ringtone is called a mosquito tone or fly tone on other ringtone sites. Cingular has something called a stealth ultra that is silent but i dont know if it works for your model phone. I have been looking on the Cingular site for one that will work with my Lg phone, as i have an annoying caller as well and i hate the vibrate option!!! Plus i want to hear my other calls. Good luck, and hope this helps :)

Thanks for the laugh. That's the best giggle I've gotten so far today.

On the off chance that you're serious (and even if you are, I'm still going to laugh), go into Settings and select Ringtones. It wil give you the option of turning the ringer off.

That's as close to a silent ringtone as you're going to get. You'll still get the call and a voice mail, but the phone won't yell at you about it.

Snort. . .chuckle. . .giggle.

do you have a voice recorder? if u do, just recrd sumfing silent and set it as ur ringtone. if not, try making a group in ur contacts with NO ONE (or evry1 cept the insurance guy) in it. then, when changing the settings 4 one of ur profiles, change the 'alert for' (or something similar - i don have the same phone!) to only that group. you could also record something blank on ur comp. and put it on ur mobile.

Isn't a silent ringtone an oxymoron? Isn't the whole purpose of a ring tone to make sound? I'm confused!?!?!?!?!

Set it to Vibrate. Some even have a lower setting that does nothing.

I add the 'bad' number to my phone book, and choose "none" as the ringer. It doesn't vibrate, etc.
