Why are you asking this question in the dining out section?? Anyway, love is not just some feeling, it is also an action, something you do. You can love anyone if you try. Some people think if they have feelings of love towards another person it means--sex! marriage, children, happily ever after. This is not true. Love, the feelings, are only a part of a relationship.What you are feeling is young love. Enjoy young love, it's great, but don't confuse it with the type of love like I share with my husband of 12 years and 3 children.

When I was in love. I couldn't get him off of my mind. We both would do anything we could to see each other. We went out of our ways for each other, the biggest thing is that we sacraficed for each other.............and to me that is a big thing to go through if you're really in love. I saw myself old and grey with him. Not a second would go by that I didn't smile when I thought of him. I would be anywhere but where he was and I would feel sad and wonder what he was doing or what we were going to do that day. The person I first loved I still think about till this day and it has been 5 years. I always wonder what he is up to. I never forget him.

If after 12 years of marriage, you still can't stand to be away for long. If you can sit together and say nothing at all, but say everything with a look that is understood. When the thought of losing them tears your heart out. When the thought of infidelity never crosses your mind. These are just a few ways of knowing you are in love.

Love is something you will know only when you truly experience it. Be ware of infatuation, you may be attracted to a characteristic of someone but it's not love. You may spend hours thinking about someone (can't get them out of your mind), but this is not necessarily love either.
True love is like a friend, someone you care about and share common interests. You think alike, you have the same goals, AND you enjoy spending time with them - doing whatever.
Since you are young, you should know that Love and Sex are two different and separate things. You DON'T have to have sex to be in love, but love may include such expressions. Again, since you are young, don't think you have to put out in order to be loved. If the person you love loves you back then sex should be UN-important. My advice is to wait. Love lasts, infatuation is impatient, and selfishness is purely motivated by pleasing one-self.
Take your time. All things will become clear in their own time.

You know you are in love when you cant breathe at the thought of losing them forever, and your world spins with pain at even the thought of infidelity on your part or theirs. You know when you are in love when the person can make you cry yet they are the only one in the world that can stop it. You know when you are in love when you could close you eyes and the scent of the peron is in your nose 5 hours after they have left and you dont realize that you are smiling because of it, and 2 years later you still run to put on lipstick before you see them. Their smile is the highlight of your day and waking up to them is like meeting them all over again. You will know when you are in love when your natural instincts to be selfish go away for good and replaced with the question how will this affect "our" lives. You will not have to ask- you will know when you are in love.

When you are really in love, you will know. It is like breathing. Be careful not to confuse it with infatuation. Hormones can be released for a lot of different reasons. They will lead you to believe you are in love. Also, be care not to be in love with love. Make sure you are into the person. And that they are also into you.

When all you can think about is the other person. It consumes you and you cannot possibly imagine your life without that other person. When you 100% generally care about their well being and want them to be happy above all.
When the thought of that person puts a new light on everything else in the world. You feel happier, walk happier, take the little daily things all in a much better way.

well you never really know when your in love like chris brown says in his song "young love" you dont have to be 21 to be in love but if you feel you love this person then you should find out how they feel before you go and tell them because they might not be ready to make that step you are

I guess you just know but sometimes its mistaken for puppy love as well as lust. Or sometimes it comes from being insecure and being too clingy. And there's also different levels of love as well like you always love your first bf/gf but you love your wife/husband on a different level to want to be with them the rest of your life.
