Love the list w/ 1 exception. Michael Vick will not get in unless he buys a ticket like the rest of us. And I don't know much about Punter either. Fitz, Tony G., Peppers, Porter, Urlacher, Hall and Polamalu are in unless major injury keeps them out.

You're pulling the trigger a little early on most (not just some) of these guys, don't ya think?

I think Vinatieri's the only shoo-in on your list.

And unless there's a spot in Canton for "Most Absurdly Overpaid, Overhyped, Undertalented Quarterback Ever," then I don't see how there will be any room for Vick. Even if he does pick up and enjoy incredible, heretofore unprecedented success for the rest of his career, he still got off to a terribly unimpressive start (for like his first FIVE SEASONS).

The only active starting QB who looks like a shoo-in is Tom Brady. Peyton Manning will probably make it, but a Super Bowl ring or two would make him a shoo-in, too.

(P.S. Oops! Looks like my AFC bias is showing. Brett Favre has a good shot at the HOF, too.)

(P.P.S. I'm sorry, but butterstma, you are CRAZY. There's NO WAY Tom Brady and his three Super Bowl rings don't make it into the HOF. [And just so ya know, this is coming from a Steeler fan!!!!] And Terrell Davis's career was too short for him to have achieved anything Hall-worthy.)

You got it all wrong, hallof famers are't just the best players over 3 or 4 years, they are the greatest over 10 or 15. I like Vick but he will never get in, neither will McNabb, Manning, or Brady. The two that have the best chance right now are Farve and Warner. Typically players who dont have Super Bowl rings dont get in.

Here's my offense:
QB-Brett Farve, John Elway, Kurt Warner
RB-Terrell Davis
FB-Mike Alstott
WR-Isaac Bruce, Jerry Rice, Tim Brown
T-Orlando Pace, Willie Roaf, Jonathan Ogden, Tony Boselli
G-Larry Allen
C-Robbie Tobeck, Tom Nalen
TE-Shannon Sharpe

Defense:
DE-Michael Strahan (even though I hate hime), Grant Wistrom
DT-Warren Sapp, Bryant Young
OLB-Derrick Brooks, Derrick Thomas
MLB-Brian Urlacher, Junior Seau
CB-Ronde Barber, Aeneas Williams, Rod Woodson
FS-John Lynch
SS-Leroy Butler, Brian Dawkins
K-Morten Anderson
P-Sean Landetta

Players who have no chance that were mentioned above-T.O., Manning, Vick, McNabb, Portis, Gonzalez, Porter, Fitzgerald, Hall.

The only ones I think will get in are Gonzalez, Peppers, Urlacher, Vinatieri. The rest are just good players, not Hall of Fame level.

Some good picks. Why not another WR or 2? Anyway yeah not sure about Vick. If he can play like he did against the Steelers then yeah he could get in the hall. He looked amazing against them and you ahve to wonder why they don't let him pass more. He can do it and if he focuses on it he would get consistent.
