I was wondering how far gone would I have to be before my partner or anyone else would be able to feel the baby moving or kicking? I am quite small and started to feel the baby move when I was about 12 1/2 weeks gone, but I can't wait for those proper kicks and for others to feel it move aswel.

If you mean how far "along", its usually alot more obvious after about 20 weeks.

Unfortunately, there's not an exact answer to this question. It depends on how big you are, and on where the baby is in your body at the time that it's kicking and somersaulting.

I think the first time my partner could feel the baby inside me was when I was 17 weeks pregnant. But the baby was superstubborn and wouldn't let grandma feel him move even at 32 weeks, when I could actually SEE him moving.

You usually can't feel the baby move until 16-22 weeks. I don't know that others will be able to feel what you feel that early but that is when you should start feeling movement. I doubt it was the baby moving at 12 weeks, it was probably just gas.

Unfortunately you have a while to go, Although I felt my first kick at 15 weeks, I was about 5 months before anyone else could feel them, and even though they could feel them, it was only very lightly
Those big stomping kicks are coming. At about 8 months baby will put his feet up in your ribs and strech out...warps your belly, and hurts sometimes, but at that point, they will not only feel it, they will SEE IT.

You should start feeling a little flutter around your 3rd month and others should be able to feel it around your 4th month. Then once you are further along in your pregnancy you will actually be able to see the baby's arms or legs move across your belly. It's so amazing. Good luck.
