Yes. That's the scary part, asking. The fear of rejection and hearing the dreaded word "no". But it is better to live without regret. So I suppose you have to be brave sometimes.

yes, but nearly 5 decades of living has taught me to ask, and then if I don't get it - it's time to move on. Some people just aren't capable of meeting your needs no matter how hard they may try.
