The worst part is that they said 'You don't want to have to explain WHY they had to escape to Austria' . Well, now you don't have to watch the end of the movie I guess you'll have some free time! I think that covering up the truth and hoping it would go away was exactly what helped the Nazis get so far in the first place. ironic. and sad.

Wow, that is retarded. The Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies, and I think that the part where they have to flee Austria is such a teachable moment. You're right; it is history...people forget that we as parents are our children's first teachers, and the best ones that they could ever have. Parents should filter and screen movies as they see fit; I mean, that's every family's own prerogative, but it's just plain dumb to tell everyone to "stop the movie" after a certain scene. Why, so the parents will be off the hook? So we won't have to actually teach our kids anything? It's more than just PC; it's pure laziness and shirking of responsibility. Sorry, I guess you found one of my soapboxes. lol

basically flow to Vista in case you have an exceedingly physically powerful computing device. you will need 1GB ram at minimum (I recommend 2GB). an exceedingly quickly processor and additionally a quickly complicated force (7200 RPM). Vista and XP has diverse report structures, so in case you progression to Vista, use the Vista set up CD to format and set-up the force - do no longer use XP. in case you want to adhere with XP, then use the XP CD. to end the format, you may go with a force to re-format once you delete the partition. There are lots of sturdy classes obtainable on the cyber web. If the single you tried before did no longer artwork too nicely, attempt yet another one.... FYI - XP is in it quite is "end of existence" area, so it is quite helpful to notably evaluate shifting to Vista or a minimum of start to get conscious of it...

Yeah, that IS pretty pathetic! I guess that's why kids don't have a clue about history or about that seemingly nice man who wants them to help him "look for his dog." We're "protecting" them. Of course, we make it seem like the world is full of wonderful people who all want to get along together. That's why instead of asking mommy if they can help the "nice man," they just go with him.

Wow...its amazing I think we don't want our kids to hear about historical facts such as this and yet most of our kids have a TV with H.B.O. in their rooms. (Oz, anyone?)

Children tend to understand things much better than what we give them credit for. And even if they do not understand, its not like they are really going to do something after seeing what they didnt understand.

I think being PC has gone overboard. There are so many people who want to make everything is "PC". It ends up turning into "trying to please everyone at the same time".

I agree - why even begin to watch something if you're going to censor it halfway through? Silly!
