Personally, I have been taking b/c pills for over a year now. I've never used a condom and never had a problem. I've missed b/c pills before and still not gotten pregnant. If you have missed a few pills then your period can be off. When I first started taking my pills I would start at the beginning of the sugar pills, now, because i've missed pills, i don't start until halfway through or the next beginning week. I don't think that your pregnant but, if you are worried then have a doctor do a blood test. Don't do a test at home because the hormones in the pills will give you an inaccurate result.

Everyone seems to be a little mixed up. If you are on your period, you CAN get pregnant if you have unprotected sex. Flow and just the simple period have nothing to do with getting pregnant. If you have been on the pill for more than a month then it is highly unlikely you could end up pregnant. You have been taking the pill regularly for more than a month and your body has absorbed all the hormones. It works that way with pretty much any birth control you use (the pill, patch, the ring, the short, etc) I would not be too worried about pregnancy if you have followed the instructions properly with your birth control and you have taken it regually for more than a month.

Isn't a person usually on their period when they take sugar pills. You can't get pregnant while on your period it would be extremely rare for a woman to be fertile at that time.

via fact beginning administration would not guard you from STDs. in basic terms a condom can try this. it is great that your gf is on beginning administration, as you're top approximately it being greater effectual against being pregnant. although oral beginning administration and different contraceptives, such via fact the beginning administration rings and photos, do no longer guard you or her from STDs. Pulling out/chickening out (in spite of you desire to call it) is likewise for the prevention of being pregnant, no longer STDs. the only time it is secure to no longer use condoms is while the two certainly one of you're monogamous and the two certainly one of you have at the instant been checked for STDs and HIV/AIDS, and had unfavorable effects of course. in spite of in case you already know you and your companion have been monogamous, you need to the two be examined each 6 months just to make certain. do no longer forget which you do no longer could desire to have intercourse to get HIV/AIDS, and the final factor you opt for to do is provide your companion an STD.

Of course you can if you have not got your period yet. NEVER HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX unless you are trying to get pregnant or contract STD's. If you are Married, then you can probably nix that STD"s part!
