After I create a new tab (with contents) and click it on my IE closes.

Right next to the active tab there is a partially hidden 'empty' tab. You cna just click on that. It'll give you a blank page (and another blank tab next to that one). You can then type in an address at the top in the address bar.
The earlier page will still be there

Sorry can't help you. That is why I went back to Old Yahoo Page!It was to confusing and I couldn't get on some of my Favorite websites.

You have to install third party toolbars, the Yahoo! toolbar can add tab support.

You should use firefox, tabs are easier to use, and less pop ups and less spam.
