I need ideas for a toddler/preschooler costume that can be made with stuff around the house for a little girl around 3 or 4. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks :)

Dress her in black and cut out stars and the moon and she can be a "Night"
Or dress her in black and make a tail out of a hanger and pantyhose. Put ears on her headband and whiskers and a black nose and you have a cat
Dress her in her most adult outfit and give her a baby stroller...she can be a mommy.
Dress her in khakis and a white button down and let her borrow daddy's tie and she can be daddy.

Safety pin dryer sheets on the clothes and you've got static cling...lol.
Rub charcoal all over her clothes and face and give her a stick, with a hankerchief tied to it and she could be a hobo.
or.....
take a pillow case, t-shirt, or something around that size, then with saftey pins, make a diaper, then tie on a bib. Dot little freckles on her face with an eyeliner stick, hand her a bottle and a rattle and she could be a baby. Don't forget the pigtails or barretts.

A mummy. Take an old bed sheet and rip it into long strips and just wrap it around her. Tie some strips around her in knots to have a few hanging down. Its easy and convenient especially if its cold outside, because your child will be completely covered.
