In the dream I was just showing off my ability. I had to concentrate to keep the item from flying erratically around the room. Any ideas?

telekinesis = special ability to move around things.

In your case, having dream liked that shows your helpless conscience in reality. In other words, you are not in control in reality. Having possessed of super power could satisfy your disrespect feeling from others. You want to show off in reality about your ability but perhaps no one appreciated and therefore, in dream, you projected that you can fly and move things. That subconsciously symbolizes your eagerness to be noticed and recognized of your ability in reality.

However, sometimes, if you have done something extraordinarily good and got praised about it. You may also dream something like that as well. That dream will be like playing back your ability. In other words, you want to be praised again.

Either case, you want to be noticed, and you may want to get some attention from people in reality.

It means that you have cool dreams! Carry on!

I've had many lucid dreams over the years and they are excellent. I particularly enjoy flying and visiting distant places. Being an empiricist, I sometimes explore the physics of my dream world... that is fun too and can help reveal where we make assumptions about the waking world... suggests some good "daytime" experiments.

contrary to popular beleif there is no standard dream dictionary, what means something to one person may mean something completely different to someone else. Sometimes the brain just wants to have a cool dream, sometimes it means something, only you know what it can mean.

If you are in the presence of someone who sneezes, protect him from danger by saying, "God bless you," or "Gesundheit." Other acceptable blessings are "Long may you live," or "May you enjoy good health."

Origin. Ancient man believed that his breath was also his soul or "essence of life." When God made man, he "breathed into his nostrils the breath of life." A rapid departure of that breath--a sneeze--is the same as expelling life from one's body. Also, it leaves a vacuum in the head which evil spirits can enter. Roman citizens feared sneezing when a plague hit their city during the reign of Pope Gregory the Great. Since they regarded the sneeze as a sure sign of approaching sickness, Pope Gregory in situated the use of the phrase "God bless you" to shield sneezers from any ill effects.
