It's often frustrating to be forced to settle for one lame politician over another because of the lack of choice. I have also always thought it rediculous to "party-line" vote, because can you really be in alignment with every candidate of either party? There needs to be another choice; a party that truly represents the interests of the average american and not the average politician or big business.

If you think there could be another viable party, where would they be on the ideology continuum? To the left? Right? in the middle?

there is definitively room for a 3rd party, however, the electoral system in place pushes towards a 2 party race.

In the middle would be the only place for a viable third party. Too far either way would limit their appeal too much.
