I am 38 and addicted to those books.

I started out by reading them to my daughter (she's 13 and hasn't outgrown being read to). We take turns reading them to each other but I got carried away and finished them off on my own. Now I'm going to be miserable waiting for that last one.

My sister also reads them and she has found it next to impossible to find an adult to adit to reading them so she can discuss them. I told her that she needs new friends.

I am 50 and I have an autographed "Prisoner of Azkaban" in my collection.

I also have the premium edition of the "Sorceror's Stone" that I got for a song! (Was $75, I nicked it for $20)

I am 33 and have read them all!! I get them from the bookstores as soon as they come out. I even listen to the books on tape of them. Hey, a great story is a great story regardless of the genre. Some people called the Tolkien series children's books as well. I think we would all be lacking if we chose what we read based on the best sellers for adults lists.

I'm 31 and have read them all several times each, and I am not embarrassed to admit it either! I started reading them the same way you did, by reading them to my daughter, then I got hooked. Can't wait for the next one, even though it will be the last. :(

I'm 26 and am totally addicted to Harry Potter and co. Can't wait for the seventh book to come out. Btw have you seen JK Rowling's website? Good for wasting time while you wait for the next book to come out!

I'm 42, and love them. I read the first one to make sure it was okay for my kids to read, and that was it. I was hooked. They are great! And they really help kids like reading.

I read all the time, almost anything. And even my 12 year old reads, mostly because of Harry and crew!

I am 37 I read them aloud to my children and I really enjoyed every single one. My mother has friends at work who read them too. Nothing wrong with that. They are great fantasy stories.
