This is one of the wierdest movies I've ever seen. It seems to be about consequence and dealing with the actions you take. But I could be projecting here.
The story is about a boy and his friends who go around causing trouble, hurting people, and stealing. I forgot most of the details, but one of the main characters gets caught and the authorities try to rehabilitate him. He ends up regretting what he did. My memory is a bit fuzzy after that.

About a guy and his friends who spend time in London just hanging around drinking milk and being violent, they rape a girl and he's sent to jail and in jail they try to implement a rehabilitation process on him to shorten his sentence, in which he is put in front of violent images, videos that's the famous scene where his eyelids are held so he can't close his eyes (this scene came out in The Simpsons when Santa's Little helper was a guardian dog at the Burns Mansion)...anyway... This is supposed to help hate violence and therefore, stop being violent himself...
Watch it.. its a classical... and see what happens in the end...

It presents the classic dilemma between free will and personal choice. Does removing a small bit of free will diminish our humanity even if the bit removed is decidedly detrimental to society?

It is an excellent movie by Stanely Kubrick. Weird but brilliant. Basically to sum it up, it is about a sex offender and the attempt to rehabilitate him. You really have to watch it.......

.Based on Anthony Burgess's disturbing novel about England in the totalitarian future, Malcolm McDowell portrays Alex, a Beethoven-loving, head-bashing punk who leads his gang of "droogs" on ultra-violent assaults--until he is captured by authorities and subjected to nasty behavior-modification therapy.
