Hi, there are many different types of cover you can buy, usually the best prices are obtained by the same company you have your household cover with. It is better to get a cover that will insure all your large domestic appliances in one go, that way you don't have to specify what appliances you want covered. Whatever you choose, make sure it is a new for old cover, not one that gives you market price as these only give you what the insurance company think your appliances are worth depending on their age. This type of cover is not worth laying out for, you might find that if it cannot be repaired they will only give you 30% or so which would still leave you with a big chunk to pay towards another unit. Also try and make sure accidental cover is included, you would be surprised how many times a repair or replacement is refused because you have left a coin in your pocket when washing and it has damaged the drum of your washing machine or you put your pan down too hard on your hob and it cracks etc,etc

hope this helps

OK so I will ignore the spelling errors, but I have no idea what a hob is.
It is not a good idea to cover your oven, or even your ovan, as the cover could set on fire.
It makes not sense to cover your fridge, or even your frige, as you open it numerous times during the day.
I suppose you could cover your washine machine, or even your washing machine, and your dryer, but I do not know why you would want to.

Insurances use the term "replacement value", which is the amount of money you would have to spend to buy the same one again, at the time of claim. The "time of claim" is important, that's why it is necessary to review that cover, say, every 2 years or so, because the prices may change....
So, go window shopping and add up the values.
You also should consider the likelihood of ALL appliances going bust simultaneously. If the chance is low, you can reduce the cover, and premium.

First thing, why do you need to cover your oven? It's not a good idea. one thing using plastic is not a good idea. Metal not a good idea, as it can easily get hot and might burn you. And well over stuff, I can't be bothered mentioning. For the fridge, you don't need one, same with a washing machine and dryer. a hod don't know what one of those is. But yea, just add locks on them if you don't want little kids to be messing around with them lol

Usually content insurance in your home insurance covers all these items. You should add up the cost of everything in the house and insure to that amount. You should get replacement coverage as prices go up and your items are loosing value everyday they get old. Make sure you take pictures of everything and keep these in a safety deposit box, Away from the property, so they will survive in case of house fire.
