Actually, I was sitting down in the study some days back thinking about Mechanical Devices. So I thought of Magnetic Effect on Wheels, So I am wondering if the principle that Postulates that "Like Poles Repel while Unlike poles Attract"; will work on a kind of cart or any device on 4 wheels, Though I just graduated from the High School.

I need to know if there is some kind of procedure which could be used to control the wheel, the area where by I am having problem is "How do I make the magnets loose there power to slow down the speed of the device? If you have any idea please help me with this.

I believe that if it works I will be able to apply it to devices like Bicycles and some other stuffs.

Please, If I am going insane let me know, At the moment I am using tiny Magnets.

Thank you

Magnetic attraction and repulsion are commonly used in transportation in rotary and linear electric motors. The key in both is that the most practical way we have to change a magnetic field is by using an electromagnet. You could physically move a permanent magnet, but strong permanent magnets are hard to make, and you still need a way to move them.

None of this addresses the source of the energy used to increase the kinetic energy of the vehicle. It just covers ways to use magnetism to transform that energy into increased kinetic energy of the vehicle.

They say the margin between genius and insanity is very small.

In fact, what you are proposing, I think, has been more or less done. They call them electric cars etc. The magnetism is created by electro magnets so that more current equals more magnetism and vice versa. And the device that gives the cars motive force is called a DC motor.

The ultimate electro magnetic vehicle is the electro magnetic train that rides above the magetized rails so that nothing touches the train and, thereby, there is minimal friction acting on it. [See source.]

Using natural magnets for motive power is not feasible for anything but small curiosity items...like desktop items. A number of issues arise for bigger applications: insufficient power, control, degradation of the natural magnets, etc. [See source.]

You can't get there from here :)

You have to use electro magnets, not permanant magnets and you have to turn them on and off at the right timeing.
there is a magnetic train in Japan I think that uses this concept.
Actually you could propel cars along a highway if they had big electromagnets embeded in the pavement and a really good computer system to keep track.'

4 wheelchronic is the perfect... notwithstanding All Wheelchronic is basically a similar element. both of those beats the front or rear wheelchronic. those human beings up accurate do not comprehend what they are speaking about. once you've 4 wheels providing the means then you actually have extra constructive skill to stay on the line. I stay in Colorado and it is amazingly, very icy right here. My vehicle is 4WD, my buddy has the front wheelchronic... he can flow 0.5 as quick as me and nevertheless be sliding out everywhere at the same time as i go two times as quick without issues in any respect.

in electric cars the wheel are motors to drive but during braking they are "re-wired" to be a generator which provides resistance during braking and helps replenish the batteries - since that isnt exactly what you are talking about i think that what you mean would be closer to "magnetic bearings" (google "magnetic bearings") P.S. the only number that is higher than the number of people that have tried this, is the number of people that have told people like you, and every innovator in the history of mankind, that something was impossible

If you're talking about using magnets to drive a vehicle, you're wasting your time. Everything is subject to the law of conservation of energy, so if it takes energy to drive a vehicle, that energy must come from somewhere, and magnets have NO energy in them to do anything.
Sorry, but about 10 million people before you have tried to do the same thing with no success........
