I think it depends on each persons life experiences, if they had experiences that instilled low self esteem in them, especially at an early age, then it might be very difficult for them to believe they have a choice. I think most people strive to have your attitude. Unfortunately, I don't think most know who to get there. I know I would like it to just be as simple as "a decision". Who knows, maybe that's all it takes.....

It's true, but then I think it takes your own consent for anybody to treat or make you feel like sh*t, to break you and take down your self-esteem etc etc.

You have to just stand up for yourself and be courageous. I know easy said than done (lol)

Yes. Only you can chhose to decide to feel the way that you do. No one else has power over your feelings or thoughts unless you allow them.

Yes of course what people say or do effects you how you allow it
But, it's still hard to not let what people say or do( positive or negative) effect us

No.......Some people exude such magnetism and have a presence about them that you are in awe of them...believe me it happens!
I guess some could call them angels...but I'm not religous

I agree with you (and this permission is often 'backed' by early life experiences which can reinforce the present).
