Found this plant in my garden, wonder if it is some form of apple tree. It has apple-looking fruit and the inside looks apple-like as well?

Have a look at these pictures, tell me if you know what it is?
Thanks

it does look like crab apple but it also looks like an asian pear since all the crab apples i have seen have been red when ripe. like the preceeding answer, try taking one to a nursery and have them id it b4 you try to eat them. the pic suggests a tree close to the groung and the asian pear trees do grow relativly close to the groung but have a qualified person check them out

It looks like some type of Apple to me... It actually looks like what my grandmother calls a "crab-apple" tree. Try taking a couple leaves and one of the "apples" to a local nursery and see if they can help you. Good luck.
