Favourite Asian movies... that's a tough one. Been so long since I watched a good Asian movie.
In recent decade, I guess if I were to choose, it will be any movie by Jet Li. He is a really good actor. His latest, Fearless, was, in my opinion, really good, actions and all.
I love this movie "Ancient Ghost Story - Xiao Qian" by Zhang Guo Rong (張國榮) and Wang Zu Xian (王祖賢) when I was young. No matter how many times it was telecasted on TV (and MediaCorp does it VERY OFTEN) I always enjoy the movie. And the song from the movie by Sally Yeh (葉倩文) (Li Ming Bu Yao Lai 黎明不要來) was really beautiful.
Oh there was this other movie by Gong Li (Qin Yong 秦俑), was very beautifully done too, except that I don't like Zhang Yi Mou's old and haggard face. Definitely not my idea of handsome. LOL

A tale of two Sisters, i'm no longer counting Godzilla because I evaluate it a monster action picture no longer horror, it receives this is personal type. some others I loved are; The Host (notwithstanding this is 0.5 comedy), Spider woodland, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (extra drama), and Oldboy (drama). All of those video clips have a astonishing storyline and are very darkish, oh and they are all South Korean.

I love "House of Flying Daggers". It is a beautiful film, literally. And I'm a fan of director Zhang Yimou (he also did Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon).
