Which is better, Ford, Dodge or Chevy?
Same issue. One has a few more features than the other, but there is more convenience with the other. Features can all be accessed by both, they just go about it differently.
As far as shop support and upgrade, the Modis will probably serve you better, unless you have a REALLY GOOD Mac or Matco or Cornwell dealer.

Good Luck

It depends on what are the types of cars you mainly focus on. I have been looking at several for my business and the best one I have seen for Mercedes and BMW is the Autoboss. None of the others offer the same amount of programming and actuations. I met with a rep yesterday and had a chance to play with it and it's awesome. It's not good for domestics though the programming is coming. The Hanatech Ultrascan is very good as well and is very strong for Asian cars. Plus it has a 4 channel scope as well. Vedis is another great scantool especially for European & Asian cars. Like I mentioned, I have been testing several highend scantools and I'm also looking to purchase one this week.
