Thank you at least we have one sane person on here.Just because I'm a Lesbian does not mean I want every women I c. We have a type just like everyone else and all women just ain't my type.
But this thinking comes from society and them teaching people that we are deviants. STOP THE MADNESS

This question makes lots of sense, it boils down to the stereotype that most gay people are driven by no other motivation. I've also observed that a lot of people, straight or gay, are so full of themselves that they cannot conceive of anyone, male or female, not being interested. It's the cause of most sexual harassment, and a key argument for the U.S. military gay ban, many straights are convinced that gays and bis won't be able to keep their hands off of them. Sad and stupid, but a fact of life.

So what, are you implying that no gay person would ever hit on a straight person? Wrong. Like I wouldn't want an attractive lesbian to switch teams for me.
I used to drive a pedicab in Waikiki, gays hit on me at least three times a night. No big deal, like straight players these guys were doing the numbers game hoping to get lucky.

This question does make sense, and my answer is no. I am straight and I have several gay and lesbian friends. I think they are no more interested in "getting with" me than i am with them.
Every now and then if a lesbian expresses an interest in me, just like with a straight man who comes on to me, I just politely tell them i am not interested and that usually does the trick.
I am not worried that all lesbians want me. Why would they? All straight men don't.

I think this is simply another stereo type. Gay or lesbian folks, don't want to "attack straights and have wild monkey sex with them" Gay and lesbians want to met people like themselves, and jump on them and have wild monkey sex with them. If someone is straight why would we want them like that? That makes no more sense then the straight guys who try to come into lesbian bars, hoping to get off on a bunch of hot chicks getting busy.

No I never assume 1st of all. And 2nd, most gay people (well at least the mature ones) know how to stay in their place. Now for the ones who are either just coming out or they're just overly ecstatic, I think that some of them just need to be on meds because they seem to have a slight case of ADD. So for you that can't sit still for 5 minutes, no candy or any type of sweets for you because you are sweet enough! LOL!

I never assume that.
I've been approached twice by men asking if I'd dance or go out for a drink with them. Both times I was flattered but not interested. They took it well.
At no time did I ever feel pressured.
